Diamond Groundskeeping Services is vitally interested in the health and safety of our employees. Our objective is to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees through the awareness and prevention of occupational injuries and illnesses.

As owners, we are committed to taking every reasonable precaution to protect all employees (full-time & contract) from harm.

Highlights of the Diamond Health & Safety Program include:

– Safety & operational training on all equipment and tools for workers and supervisors
– Annual WMIS, First Aid & CPR training
– Detailed emergency response policy
– Equipment lock out procedures
– Joint Health & Safety Committee

Supervisors are accountable for the health and safety of all employees under their supervision. They are responsible to ensure machinery and equipment are safe and workers follow established safe work practices and procedures. Employees must receive adequate training in their specific tasks to protect their health and safety.

Employees must utilize these safe work practices and procedures established by Diamond Groundskeeping Services to protect their own health and safety. It is the employee’s responsibility to work in compliance with the law and report any unsafe act or condition to the supervisor in a timely manner.

All employees are expected to consider health and safety in every activity. Healthy and Safety has become an essential part of the Diamond Groundskeeping Services organization from the owners to the employees and committing to a zero incident policy.
